Shiho Niiyama (March 21 1970 - February 7 2000) was a Japanese seiyuu famous for voicing Kou Seiya, otherwise known as Sailor Starfighter, around Sailor Stars and Deedlit from Record of Lodoss War. More roles include Perfect Blue and the Sailor Moon SuperS dream arc. She was diagnosed by owning the form of leukemia known as kyuusei hakketsu byou in 1998, and died of pneumonia in 2000.
